This Friday 2nd August, we are excited to be hosting an exclusive event at No Man's Fort in the Solent where we will combine Leyton's passion for sailing, sustainability and the environment. Over 65 clients are now confirmed to attend and enjoy this unique and fun event.
After travelling by boat to the historic fort located in the middle of the Solent, guests will enjoy a champagne reception and tour of the fort before an evening of networking and relaxing. There will be presentations from Leyton UK Commercial Director, Scott Lutter and Blue Marine Foundation (BLUE), an organisation we will be working closely with in the next few months. BLUE’s key aim is to place 10% of the world’s oceans under protection by 2020 and 30% by 2030; their presence at this event is very fitting as the work they do is closely aligned with Leyton’s commitment to sustainability and they will be speaking about one of their projects in the Solent.
“We are looking forward to working with Leyton and raising awareness around innovative ways to preserve the marine environment” – Sarah-Jane Skinner, Blue Marine Foundation
In the unique setting of this Napoleonic fort, Arthur Le Vaillant, Leyton’s celebrated skipper, will also join our guests and tell them about his recent races, adventures and his passion for the ocean.
Following an overnight stay, the guests will sail to Cowes to support the Leyton Sailing Team, accompanied by Leyton’s CEO, Francois Gouilliard, who will take to the waves in the Class40 category of the Rolex Fastnet Face.
This event truly demonstrates Leyton’s commitment to sustainable development and support of projects dedicated to the protection of the environment.
